Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada. She is an actress who has starred in a variety of television shows. She also excels in the field of film. The actress is popular on Canadian as well as American Television. Emily first became interested when she watched her sibling Katie working on a film. When she began to realize that acting was her interest, she started to take acting lessons and auditions. After several commercials that were successful, she was soon cast in the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You afraid of Dark? It was the only scene in which she did not talk. When she was 15, Emily got her first big break when she was made a regular of the WB TV series Glory Days. Emily's performances caught the attention from Dawson's creek's Greg Berlanti, who then invited her to his TV show Everwood. Emily, who is also a ballerina and photographer was recognized by Teen magazine as one the best actresses younger than 20. Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked Emily at 51.
