Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on the 28th of October, 1967 and was the child of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. She belongs to the Robertses' fourth generation to reside in the Atlanta area, starting from her maternal grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Her father had his first steps towards stage. He was an actor on stage on the Emory University campus in 1952 and was also involved in productions outside of Atlanta. When he was stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi he was part of a military unit in the play of Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, the couple got married and, in 1956, their child Eric Anthony was born. Walter was studying at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957, the couple were discharged from the air force and Walter began his studies at Tulane. Walter worked with Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. The family moved in 1960 and relocated from the city of Decatur Georgia. Walter and Betty Lou started production in 1964 for the local children's Saturday morning show on television called Bum Bum and His Buddies, which they funded themselves. They established an Actors and Writers Workshop in the same year, which was in operation for six years. They welcomed in 1965 two more children into their lives: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
