Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of fourteen years old. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling before she made her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd later went on to win three fights within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were finished within the first minute. Then, she went to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was able to hand Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's professional career. Ladd recovered from the loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the one round with a TKO. Invicta took on her in the Bantamweight division and was victorious via submission armbar during the second round. Aspen used superior wrestling to defeat McGill in third round TKO. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd did not have enough weight. However, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She won by KO in the 2nd round. In her last fight for Promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks in a an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut took place at UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina and ground-and-pounded her in the second round to secure a TKO victory. Her dominance grew and she scored a more impressive win in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd took the win in round one and was awarded the Performance of the Night Prize. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent for a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's debut major fight. Ladd took home the night's fight bonus, after both fighters had hard in a tense back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya fell in the 3rd round at UFC 7 on ESPN. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
